Join the Phillies for Citizens Weather Education Day – Learn, Play, and Cheer at Citizens Bank Park!

Presented by Citizens and the First Alert team at NBC10 and Telemundo62, this beloved annual event brings together weather science, education, and Phillies baseball for an unforgettable day at the ballpark. Perfect for students, families, scout groups, and weather fans of all ages!

Kick off the morning with an interactive Weather Education Program (rain or shine) featuring meteorologists from NBC10/Telemundo62 and experts from The Franklin Institute. Dive into fun, hands-on lessons about weather phenomena, forecasting, safety, and more – think demos, Q&A sessions, and cool visuals that make science exciting.

Then stay for the action: Watch the Phillies take on their opponent in a regular-season game right after the program!

Event Highlights:

• Gates Open: 9:30 a.m. – Each attendee receives a special event rally towel!
• Weather Education Program: 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (or similar timing based on the schedule)
• First Pitch: Afternoon game time (typically 1:05 p.m. or as scheduled – check for the exact matchup, e.g., vs. Cincinnati Reds in past years)
• Themed giveaways, educational exhibits, and photo ops with the Phanatic
• All inside the iconic Citizens Bank Park
