Welcome to Our Dungeons & Dragons Campaign!

Step into a world of adventure, where your imagination shapes epic stories of heroism, danger, and camaraderie. We’re thrilled to invite you to join our upcoming Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) campaign.

Dungeons & Dragons is a tabletop role-playing game where players create characters and embark on adventures in a fantasy world. Guided by a Dungeon Master (DM), players make choices that shape the story, battle monsters, solve puzzles, and uncover treasures. Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or new to the game, D&D offers endless opportunities for creativity and fun.

• Start Date: August 9, 2025
• Session Schedule: Meetings will be every other week until the campaign is complete.
• Session Time: Every session begins at 12:00 PM (noon) and runs for 1-2 hours.
• Duration: The campaign will continue until the story concludes.

We recommend using D&D Beyond, a fantastic online tool for creating and managing your D&D character. Follow these steps to get started:

1. Create an Account: Visit dndbeyond.com and sign up for a free account.
2. Start a New Character: Click on “Characters” in the top menu, then select “Create a Character.”
3. Choose Creation Method: Select “Standard” for guided creation. You can choose your character’s race (e.g., Human, Elf, Dwarf), class (e.g., Fighter, Wizard, Rogue), and background.
4. Assign Ability Scores: Use the point-buy system or roll for stats (check with the DM for preferred method). These scores define your character’s strengths, like Strength or Intelligence.
5. Add Details: Fill in your character’s name, backstory, and personality traits to bring them to life.
6. Equip Your Character: Choose starting equipment or gold to purchase gear, as outlined by your class and background.
7. Save and Share: Once complete, save your character. You can share a link with the DM or print your character sheet as a PDF.
8. Explore Features: D&D Beyond tracks your hit points, spells, and inventory, making gameplay smooth. Free accounts include core rules, with optional purchases for expanded content.

If you’re new, don’t worry! The DM and other players can help guide you through the process.

To represent your character on the game map, we encourage you to create a character token. These can be simple and fun:

• Cardboard Cutouts: Draw or print your character’s image on paper, glue it to cardboard, and cut it out.
• Game Pieces: Use a small figurine, miniatures, or even a unique game piece (like a Monopoly token) to represent your character.
• Optional Customization: Feel free to paint or decorate your token to match your character’s vibe!
